SUMMARY:Regular | Tai Chi with Enid (18+)
DESCRIPTION:Autumn Term 2023-24 \nWe work with seated breathing and preparation exercises\, followed by gentle standing warm-up movements\, Qi Gong and the Yang Short Form (24 Postures). The slow fluid movements\, originating from oriental martial arts\, relax the upper body and mind while strengthening and challenging the legs and core muscles. There is also another unexpected benefit to this practice and which develops over time\, the quiet restfulness of meditation in movement. Participants often experience improved balance\, reduced blood pressure\, feeling calmer\, more grounded and re-energised. \nIt’s important to wear comfortable clothing and layers are recommended so you can adjust to suit how you feel. Also\, bringing a small cushion can really help when we’re sitting\, supporting our backs and improving our posture. \nNo previous experience needed. \nEssential to pre-register if new to the group. \n12-week term – 21st Sept-7th Dec (no half-term break) \nClass rate: £48/6wk half term

SUMMARY:Regular | Tai Chi with Enid (18+)
DESCRIPTION:Autumn Term 2023-24 \nCome and join us in the Council Chamber\, above the Leominster Tourist Information Centre. Following the L’Art du Chi\, Stevanovitch method we work with seated breathing and preparation exercises\, followed by gentle standing warm-up movements\, Qi Gong and the Yang Short Form (24 Postures). \nThis class is intended for beginners however all levels are welcome. \nEssential to pre-register if new to the group. \nIndoor class rate: £48/6wk half term \n12-week term – 19th Sept-5th Dec (no half-term break)
