Regular | Tai Chi with Enid in the Park (18+)
May 13 @ 9:45 am - 10:45 am

Summer Term 2025
Following the L’Art du Chi, Stevanovitch method, Enid will lead you through gentle warm-up exercises, Qi Gong movements and the Yang Short Form (24 Postures). These slow fluid movements, originating from oriental martial arts, relax the upper body and mind while strengthening and challenging the legs and core muscles. There is also another unexpected benefit to this practice and which develops over time, the quiet restfulness of meditation in movement. Participants often experience improved balance, reduced blood pressure, feeling calmer, more grounded and re-energised.
Being outside in the park is the perfect place to practice this ancient activity however we are dependant on the weather so remember to wear comfortable and seasonal clothing. If you have any queries about the class taking place due to weather conditions, please message Enid directly.
Previous experience of tai chi or L’Art du Chi is beneficial.
We meet near the War Memorial on The Grange.
