Regular | Tai Chi with Enid in the Park (18+)

Summer Term 2025-26
Following the L’Art du Chi, Stevanovitch method we work with seated breathing and preparation exercises, followed by gentle standing warm-up movements, Qi Gong and the Yang Short Form (24 Postures). The slow fluid movements, originating from oriental martial arts, relax the upper body and mind while strengthening and challenging the legs and core muscles. Participants report feeling improved balance and blood pressure, calmer, more grounded and re-energised.
With practice, we increase our body awareness and focussed concentration, discovering a calmer presence with new perceptions of ourselves and the world around us – Being more in the flow.
Being outside in the park is the perfect place to practice this ancient activity however we are dependant on the weather so remember to wear comfortable and seasonal clothing. If you have any queries about the class taking place due to weather conditions, please message Enid directly.
We meet near the War Memorial on The Grange.
Previous experience of tai chi or L’Art du Chi is beneficial but not essential.
